Blue Faced Sport is 100% wool from Blue Faced Leicester Sheep, a long haired lustrous breed of sheep. The yarn is 3 ply, soft, sturdy, shiny with great twist and stitch defintion. WE LOVE THIS YARN! PLEASE NOTE: Colors often look lighter on this yarn than on some of our other yarns. Knits up at 6 stitches to the inch on a US size 5 needle, 28 rows over 4 inches. Recommended needle size US 4 - 6. Each skein is 4oz/115 gms/252 yds. Handwash, not superwash.
