Caper Sock-Solas

Solas was a custom color for Cookie A for her sock club of 2011. The beautiful Haleakala and Ripple Leaf Socks were designed by Cookie with this particular color. It is now available after a year of being exclusive to those who received it in the club shipment. Caper Sock a luxurious blend of 80%merino/10%cashmere/10%nylon, springy with great stitch definition. Named Caper after Capricorn the goat (a cashmere goat perhaps?), and for the feeling of dancing that overcomes you when feel this yarn. Recommended needle size US 2-3, knits up at 7 stitches per inch on size 3 needles. Also beautiful on US 4-5 needles for garments and shawls. 4oz skeins/400 yds. Superwash but we recommend hand washing for all hand knits. Ripple Leaf Sock

I adore this color! It goes with so many projects and clothes already in the closet. The color and slight shine allow a more complicated stitch pattern to really show throw as it should.
